Join the Pavilion Fundraiser
Oak Ridge High School Band has had the privilege of running a concession stand at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for the last 20 years and is one of our biggest fundraisers.
Benefits of working: Working the pavilion is a great way to earn points that go towards band fees/trips and meet other band/color guard parents. You can apply points these credits to your student’s band fees/trips. You can donate you points back to the band or you can help another student in need.
When is Pavilion Season: The Pavilion season runs from April to December. To work the pavilion, you must be 18 years of age and have a valid TABC, Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code, certification along with an Aramak background check. The certification is valid for 2 years. You can get your certification at TABConthefly.com for $10.99. You do not need to get your food handling certification. You can have friends and family sign up to work for your student too.
What to wear: You will need to wear your own khaki pants, capris or shorts (no short shorts) and closed toed shoes. We will provide you with a blue Aramark shirt. If you have an ORHS baseball cap or visor, you may wear it, or we will provide you with one. Bring a pair of sunglasses and you own drinking cup.
Where should I park: The green lot or silver lot (if not full). Please allow 10 to 15 minutes to walk from the green lot. The silver lot has a shuttle. If you choose to park at the mall or market street, it is at your own risk.
