Mikaila Banks is now in her first school year being the full time Color Guard Director at Oak Ridge High School in Conroe, Texas after serving as one of the technicians for both the outdoor and indoor seasons since 2017. Her duties include managing the Color Guard program during Outdoor and Indoor Season. Over the years, she has helped assist with other various programs in the Houston area. Ms. Banks is also an Oak Ridge High School Color Guard alumni. She joined in the summer of 2010 in the seventh grade and finished out her time as a member when she graduated in 2016.  Ms. Banks continued her marching experience with Spirit Independent Winter Guard (IO) from 2017-2019 and Third Coast Independent (IW) 23’. In between her marching seasons, she worked as a Tabulator and Contest Director for the Texas Color Guard Circuit from 2019-2022. Ms. Banks is beyond excited to be teaching in the place that introduced her love for the arts.
